What distance can the horses travel?

We are are holders of a Type 1 authorisation and can transport horses for journeys of up to 8 hours by road. We will not quote for longer journeys and do not provide stop overs.

Should I provide my own hay?

Yes - we find this is the best way to prevent infectious diseases and ensure that your horse always has it made up just the way they like it!

Will the transporter load my horse for me?

It is generally expected that the owner or person in control of the horse loads them onto our box. We find that horses often load better with their 'person' beside them. However, we are always on hand to assist with tricky loaders should it be required!

What additional items can be transported?

We are happy to transport saddle, bridle and a small amount of accessories. This is weight dependant to ensure we remain safe. Please not that you are required to provide your own insurance to cover any additional items added to the transport.

Can I travel with my horse - for example to a show?

As long as you are over 18, we can usually accommodate one passenger with advance notice. 

How is the pricing worked out?

When you contact us, we will create an individual quote based on a return journey to/from our base. Each journey is different, as you may or may not need us to wait before returning to our base.

Late notice bookings (less than 72 hours) and emergency bookings are subject to callout fees.

How do you take payment?

We are happy to receive payment via bank transfer or  we can send an invoice with a payment link, via email, text or whatsapp. For emergency callouts, credit/debit card payment is available on our arrival to collect the horse.

When is payment required?

A 50 % deposit will secure the booking. The remaining balance becomes due 48 hours prior to travel. 

Once a booking has been secured via payment of the deposit, we will not cancel the booking, except in exceptional circumstances or extreme weather conditions that might pose a danger to travel. We will make every effort to re-arrange travel to a convenient time. We pride ourselves on our reliability and professionalism - you will not be 'bumped' so that we can do another job.
